The core operating principle of a packing robot is that the control system receives commands, drives the actuators (robotic arms, grippers, etc.), and cooperates with sensor positioning to complete an automated cycle of material grabbing, moving, positioning, packing, and resetting according to a pre-set program.
Fully Automatic Packing Robot Operation Steps
1. Command Reception and Interpretation: The control system (e.g., PLC, industrial computer) receives packing task instructions from the upper system (e.g., the production line's MES system) and interprets parameters such as material type, packing specifications, and speed.
2. Material Positioning and Inspection: Vision sensors or infrared/laser sensors identify the material's position, posture, and quantity, confirming whether the material meets the gripping requirements (e.g., no damage and correct positioning), and feed this positioning data back to the control system.
3. Actuator Action: Based on this positioning data, the control system drives the robotic arm (or conveyor mechanism) to the material gripping point. The gripper (suction cup, gripper, etc., selected based on the material's characteristics) securely grasps the material.
